Phoenix Helicopter Academy can coordinate an activity day to include helicopter flying, either lessons or pleasure flying from the historic and charismatic Goodwood Aerodrome. Lessons being a perfect gift for those interested in the ultimate adventure of a helicopter flying, where each participant can have ago behind the controls of one our fleet of helicopters. Our hover challenge always proves to be a popular choice, where each member of your group gets to pit their wits against the R22 and do their best at trying to hover, with the help of one of our instructors of course. The hover challenge is a great option for a group where everyone is really keen to get stuck in and enjoy the excitement of taking control of a helicopter.

If you would like to leave the flying to us, then we can arrange a wide variety of pleasure flights for you. We offer helicopter rides from Goodwood over Portsmouth, the Isle of Wight, Chichester and the surrounding areas and awe can even go through London taking in the sites as we cruise at 1500ft along the Thames through central London. It all depends on what you want from your day.

As if helicopter flying was not exciting enough, we have teamed up with Mithril Racing and Skid Control to offer the opportunity of combining the thrill of fast action motorsport with the skill and coordination of flying helicopters.

That is not all; we can also tie in some water sports at a local activity centre only a stones throw from Goodwood Aerodrome. Chichester Water sports Centre is the main centre for water based activities on the South Coast including: - Windsurfing, Wakeboarding, Waterskiing, Kayak and Topper hire, Ringo/5 seat banana hire.

All you need to do is decide on the activities that you would like to do throughout your day and we can coordinate everything for you. Including a buffet lunch to keep you going through your action packed day.
