The British Grand Prix 2012 at Silverstone will be one of the premiere motorsport events taking place in the UK, attracting visitors from all over the world, with up to 250,000 people descending on the historic motor circuit for the main race on Sunday. With all those people descending on the circuit, traffic queues can extend for miles and really hamper the enjoyment of the day. Silverstone is one of the busiest events for helicopter charter to date throughout the social calendar, with up to 200 helicopter movements per day over the weekend; as a result there are only limited landing slots available. The slots are distributed on a first come first served basis; so to avoid disappointment its always best to book early to get the prime slots in and out,.
