Congratulations to Chris Kirk for passing his PPL (H) September 2013
Congratulations to Chris Kirk for passing his PPL (H) Chris showed inspiring drive and dedication while training with Phoenix for his PPL. Chris knocked out the ground exams at record speeds before focusing on the flying. Chris progressed through the flying course quickly and after all the hard work is now a full qualified private helicopter pilot. Chris will now continue his flying, building his hours in a structured manor while studying for the commercial exams before conducting the CPL course.
The wings for warrior’s charity support many ex military personnel that due to injury can no longer continue their military roles. The charity helps rebuild their lives and give them new career opportunities. Chris Kirk is a great example of this having lost his lower leg in combat Chris is now working towards a new career as a commercial helicopter pilot. After completing all the exams at record speeds Chris then started to focus on the PPL flying course. Chris was able to progress through the flying course quickly, overcoming a slight set back regarding the paper work before he could go solo. Once Chris was able to go solo there was no stopping him. After months of hard work Chris was ready to take his PPL skills test of which he passed first time. Congratulations to both the wings for warrior’s charity and to Chris himself. Chris now has his work cut out for him, studying hard for the ATPL theory exams.
