Sam Richards

Unfortunately there is more to flying helicopters than the exciting practical flight training, as part of both your PPL and CPL/ATPL licence there is a certain amount of theoretical training required. Most flight schools will only help students with the practical aspects of the course however at Phoenix we assist our students through all aspects of flying including the theoretical elements.

Sam Richards is the dedicated ground instructor at Phoenix and will be available for both one to one lessons as well as group study sessions. Sam, when he’s not teaching at Phoenix, works with the air cadets as an aviation instructor.
