Congratulations to Malvina for completing her Commercial Helicopter Pilot's Licence at Blackbushe Airport, with instructor Paul Andrews!
The commercial flying course is 35 flight hours long, but the journey to becoming a commercial pilot starts well beforehand. Malvina, who is a commercial fixed wing pilot, had to complete a total of 155 hours helicopter flight experience prior to the course. As well as the required flight experience there are at least 13 commercial theory exams to complete.
Malvina completed the majority of the course at our Blackbushe branch. After a flight test with a senior examiner, Malvina has now gained her CPL (H). This licence enables Malvina to work as a Commercial Helicopter Pilot anywhere in Europe!
Pictured below on the left is Malvina with our CPL instructor and managing director Paul Andrews. On the right is Malvina and Paul at Shoreham Airport completing the night flying section. A qualified commercial rotary pilot as well as a commercial fixed wing pilot… What next? Well done Malvina!
