Tom Preece passes CPL (H) – January 2016

November 13, 2017

Congratulations to apprentice Tom Preece for completing the CPL (H) course. Tom can now work commercially as a helicopter pilot, starting his professional flying career.

Tom has been working at Phoenix as one of the apprentices for the past two years. The apprenticeship, for Tom, involved working in the office at Blackbushe as operations manager. As part of Tom’s wage, 1 hours flying each week was included. This allowed Tom to build all his required hours, start the CPL flying course and now become a fully qualified commercial pilot! To get to this stage takes lots of dedication and hard work. The CPL theoretical examinations are notoriously difficult, particularly when Tom had a full time job running the operations. Well done Tom and good luck in your professional flying career!
